Positioning with your own values

Formulate and implement mission statements

Does your company have a common understanding of the mission, vision, values and management style? These might be plain and obvious to everyone to start with, but will need to be clearly defined as the firm grows. Here, it’s not about creating a mission statement made up of pious and empty platitudes, but actually formulating a shared understanding of real-life values. These build on the strengths and potentials that have already been identified and are present in your company.

Develop corporate culture

We often go to companies that are positioned well, have great products and services and make good money, but still feel they need to go a step further. This feeling is often quite vague, like the desire for “a better atmosphere” or for the employees to “burn with more passion“. What is often behind this is the effectiveness of values and sense of purpose in the company’s own corporate culture. We love these seminars because they always bring a lot of honesty, emotion and personal growth to a company. When a company overcomes internal cynicism and engages in genuine dialogue, a new and desirable human quality emerges that makes space for all things new.

Shape corporate identity

Leaving these questions unanswered creates fertile ground for petty feuding. On the outer levels it is all about the uniform use of fonts, colours, grids, logo and image style. Even the definition of the external appearance creates problems for some companies. Things get even more interesting when we look at the inner levels when creating a clear corporate identity. Shared values and a common understanding of leadership are rarely defined. In this seminar we address and clarify these 4 facets.

Develop corporate culture

What are your values and how do you communicate them through text, image and design? The fundamentals of values communication. Depending on the depth of detail, this talk can take from 45 minutes to several hours. the latter case includes interactive elements and many practical examples. It also looks at how values can be implemented in the visual style, text tonality, typography, colours and design.

5D Appreciative Inquiry (lecture)

If you want to change something in your company, how do you go about it? Appreciative inquiry has emerged as a popular form of moderation in many companies. It focusses on strengths and opportunities and leads to constructive interaction. We are happy to explain the 5 stages (Definition, Discovery, Dream, Design and Destiny), and how this approach can be implemented in practice.

The lecture can take from 30 mins to 2 hours – depending on how many practical examples we cover.

Values and corporate culture

What are the values you live out in your company? And what do your employees think about this? Although corporate culture is crucial for the success of a company, it is rarely examined and reflected on from a strategic angle. It is strongly influenced by the behaviour of managers, who really need to have the courage to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror. During this lecture we suggest ways this can be constructively implemented, thus releasing new development potential.

Employer attractiveness

Do your employees only stay in their jobs because of the money? Money is obviously an important factor when choosing a job, but it’s not the only one, nor is it the most important. For qualified members of the younger generation, salary is often not the primary concern when choosing a job. Here, it is important for companies to increase their attractiveness as employers. During the talk we explain the steps and variables.

WHM and values (lecture)

What does your company do about Workplace Health Management? Is absenteeism an issue? Think about back exercises, yoga courses and height-adjustable desks. Workplace mental health wellbeing is linked to the values, beliefs and purpose people associate with their job.
In this lecture we take a preventative approach to WHM.
